The Enoteca, housed in a historical building nestled among gently rolling hills surrounded by vineyards, offers visitors the chance to absorb all the values and flavours of Dolcetto.

Our wines represent the colours and scents of nature, the gifts and surprises of the seasons, and the area’s generating force and authentic beauty.

Venture into an exploration of the territory and its wine with one of the 160 labels proposed, products of a variegated territory that extends over more than 473 hectares of vineyards, 60% of which are cultivated specifically for the production of Dolcetto di Diano d’Alba.

Our selection boasts the products of over forty member wineries, with 53 different labels of Diano d’Alba, as well as Barolo, Nebbiolo d’Alba, Barbera d’Alba, Langhe Favorita, Langhe Arneis, Langhe Chardonnay, Moscato and various types of Grappa.

In this ideal place for lovers of food and wine tourism, set in a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the pleasure of sharing becomes the ingredient that makes the tasting experience completely genuine.

Dolcetto di Diano d’Alba or Diano d’Alba DOCG

Dolcetto di Diano d’Alba corresponds to the entire territory of one small municipality south of Alba, extending across a hill at an altitude of 500 metres above sea level.

To understand this grape variety, its potential and its demands, you have to be present in the vineyard. Because viticulture is much more than just a matter of production, it is also the formation of a landscape that defines the beauty of our terroir, the Langhe.

And we are the proud defenders of this heritage.

The territory is a timeless promise that celebrates the value of the most genuine simplicity, wine.

The name of the grape originates from the particular sweetness of its flesh, but the wines made from it are all decidedly dry, with modest acidity and a pleasantly bitter aftertaste.

A jovial, full-bodied and textured wine

The main characteristics of this great wine are…

  • Colour: dep ruby red with youthful violet highlights;
  • Bouquet: fruity and fragrant, with an evident note of Marasca cherry and sometimes of blackberry or jam;
  • Palate: edgy and dry, with a typically bitter almond aftertaste that stimulates the palate.

It was one of Gino Veronelli’s favourite wines.

It has certain aromatic traits, including geraniol, which make it pleasant when young, and has the strength for medium ageing.
With a minimum of 18 months’ ageing, it can be presented in the Superiore category.

Typical products

The precious gifts of our territory become something for us to share and experience with our guests.

The Enoteca offers an opportunity to discover the fullness of the flavours of our land, with a selection of typical products chosen for their quality, their connection to the area and their traditions.

We firmly believe in this connection and in those who bring it to life, such as family-run farms that work hard to pass on the flavours and tastes of our land, preserving their antique roots.
